Here is a short tutorial on how I go about the process of drawing wings!
I only figured out the brief "dot-and-line-skeleton" method a couple of months ago. It REALLY helps with both making it fluid and getting the perspective right!
I hope this helps people who are having a little trouble with wings!
Also, remember that wings are a dragon's third pair of limbs, and a bird's second. The bones in them act like an arm with extended phalanges, and the "hand" is always pointed backwards.
